Last Wednesday, the world stood still and watched as the United States of America made history! They made history in November with having the highest votes ever cast at a presidential election (150million)!

They made history by swearing in their oldest ever president, Joe Biden at the age of 78yrs! They made history by swearing in Kamala Harris the first ever woman to the position of Vice President- the highest elected office ever occupied by a woman in the US.

They made history by electing the daughter of immigrants, a mixed race lady with such a mixed family, that somehow all parts for minority America are represented in this one lady – Jews, Asians, Africans, immigrants… its amazing!

Now while we are beaming and being emotional about all these history making events, one thing struck me – IT ONLY HAPPENED BECAUSE THEY DREAMT OF IT.

Joe Biden had started serving in the US senate since the age of 29! He had been Vice President for 8 years. He had lost the presidential ticket from his party once. Yet he dreamed. Yet he persisted. Yet he kept showing up.

Despite being though ‘too old for the job’, ‘not suitable for the job because of his past bereavements’, ‘one with health issues’…he didn’t give up, he presented himself for the job, he showed up. And HIS DREAM CAME TRUE!

So what are you dreaming of today? If your dream doesn’t scare you, it is not big enough. Stretch your mind as far as possible. What would you want if money, time, resources was no object? Yep! Write it down. We will continue it from there next time!

It’s another Monday and I just want to encourage you! You’ve got this! You can be ALL that you want to be! There’s nothing stopping you apart from your mind! Because, you can only feature in a future you can picture! So, how far can you see?
