I. Provide support to EXCO in the development of a ten-year strategic plan for the association on a rolling basis to cover amongst others:
a. Vision/Mission/Values
b. Critical Success Factors/Underlying Principles
c. Objectives/Goals/Strategies
d. Communication and Implementation Action Plan
II. During the Planning Cycle
a. Have a process for development of the plan that is inclusive and ensures the views of all QCOGA members including QCOGA chapters in Nigeria and in diaspora.
b. Conduct a current position assessment of the association and its related chapters with a view to determining its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as well as strategic issues to consider in developing the plan.
c. Develop a plan that reviews and recommits to the association’s vision, mission and goals.
d. Evolve strategies that address priorities for the association including but not limited to.
1. Governance
2. Organisation structure
3. Funding and plan resourcing strategy
4. Infrastructure
e. Communicate and disseminate plan post approval to all members of the QCOGA.
f. Put in place an effective implementation plan and feedback process.
g. Track implementation and provide feedback on a bi-annual basis to EXCO/members.
h. Recommend constitutional amendments as may be required.
i. Take any other actions incidental to and supportive of developing and communicating, a practical, focused and impactful plan for the QCOGA.
j. Any other matter as the EXCO may direct.
