Women In Business, Politics & On Boards

I.  Coordinating, planning and executing all programs that support QCOGA members in business, politics and on boards.

II.  Providing support such as networking and mentoring opportunities to individual members who are involved in business, politics and on boards; as well as through the QCOGA Mentoring Committee, to students of QC, Lagos interested in a career in business, politics and corporate governance.

III.  Holding meetings/events (online and in-person) for knowledge sharing and networking on areas within the Committee’s remit.

IV.  Conducting research in the areas of business, politics and boards in order to determine and recommend a number of thematic issues for the QCOGA to progress.

V.  Recommending a plan of action with clear milestones and timelines for the QCOGA to tackle identified matters in these thematic areas.

VI.  Making recommendations to the Executive regarding activities that the QCOGA, Committee, Class Sets and Branches of the QCOGA can carry out in order to influence and shape the discourse in these thematic areas and achieve the milestones on the action plan.

VII.  Making recommendations to the Executive for fund raising activity to support specific objectives in these thematic areas; and

VIII.  Designing and maintaining social media and web based infrastructure to serve as a repository of information or a source of reference to academic and practical material in the thematic areas.
